The Music Jam '08 is here!
There are two free items! One is new and one is old.

New Game:

~Also, the new game - DJ3K - is out! Its in the Night Club. Walk towards the DJ counter. Its a game where you create your own music. The point of the game is to be a DJ and create a song with lots of effects using all the buttons, tapes, knobs, etc. The longer you DJ there and the better the song, the more coins you get when you exit. Billybob has said this game will be permanent!

New Game!

Hi Penguins!
The new game will be coming out tomorrow!(Friday, 25th July) Club penguin changed the picture! Here it is:

They added the ‘DJ3K’ 3k meaning 3000 which all of Garys gadgets have in their name - Pizzatron 3000, Switchbox 3000.
They changed it because there was confusion - the colour of the penguin on the other picture, and to add some things in.
Club Penguin released a sneak peak of the new game. Here is the picture:

- New Server and Sign ins! You get suggested servers.

-The spyphone has moved! Its above the map.

-Penguin Mail is the message icon now! So when someone adds you as a buddy it will be the old postcard icon as if you get a postcard it will be in your penguin mail!

-On your Penguin mail there will be a free item! Which is a blue bag!

-You can sort your items! Like head, face, body, feet items.

-New igloo backgrounds!

-If someones talking behind you and your speech bubble is blocking theirs, no matter how much they talk, it won’t come in front of your own speech bubble.

-Around 200 buddies

-Rooms don't get full

-The Mountain is now called Ski Hill when you hover your cursor over it on the Map. However, when you go to it, it says ‘Loading Mountain’

-If you right click anywhere at anytime, then select Zoom in, you can zoom in to view ultra large penguins. You can click, hold, and drag to move around.

-You can chat on Nonchat servers!

-If you press the spacebar and then enter, you’ll get a blank chat bubble.

-You can read the Paper Backwards! (Thanks to Watex) - First, sit sideways, face up, or dance. Then open your newspaper. You’ll be reading it all wrong or not reading it at all. Go to the Dojo to see yourself doing this while reading the newspaper.

-The ‘Find Buddy’ button on your buddy’s playercard has changed to a question mark.

-When you adopt a puffle, they send you a postcard.

-If a buddy logs into the server you’re in when you’re in Club Penguin, a dialog box will pop out of the Buddy button in your toolbar.

-When you click on the Members Igloos on the Map, it expands. Displaying all the igloos available and their owners’ names when you hover your mouse over one. But there is probably a maximum number of igloos per server.

-(Thanks to Watex) A pathway is somewhere where when you usually go, it’ll take you to another place on the map, such as the right/left pathways next to the Town. However, with this cheat, you won’t be taken to another map. First, click on the part of the pathway you want to go to. Now while you’re still walking, click the Penguin Mail envelope at the top left. Stay in the P-Mail thing, viewing your postcards/mail, until you think you have stopped walking. Then exit P-Mail and you are standing on a pathway! Now you can dance, talk, whatever!

Hi Penguins,

A new game is coming to Club Penguin. Billybob said it’ll be a game you’ll like, “especially if you’re into music.” It looks like a penguin flipper moving the disc that DJ’s usually spin. I don't know, but maybe it could be the Night Club or something!

CP news

Hi Penguins,
The new features are expected to launch sometime.
Also, the Penguin Band will be playing at the Iceberg from July 25-30th. All bands are invited to come, so start rehearsing. The band will be returning July 25 and they might even bring back the band background.
And there is a new play at the Stage and a new background which is a City background. It returned from last time.

Today Club Penguin has released a new Clothing Catalog that includes many new items and some rare items like the Cowboy boots and Cowboy Hat. There is also two new wigs in the wig catalog, and last but not least a new pin.
--Clothing Catalog Secrets--

~Click the Supernova Suit’s belt for the Red Viking Helmet. Click it 3 times for the blue viking helmet.

~Click the Divers Suit for the Divers Helmet.

~To get the Crystal Staff click the white part of the Emerald Hat.

~There is also new backgrounds, three of them returned and one is new

New newspaper and player card update

Hi Penguins,
As you all know, the new newspaper came out today and Rockhopper will be leaving on the 7th of July!
Also, the new pin will be on the 4th of July.
The new wig catalog will be on the 4th of July as well
Theres a new play one July 11th
And on July 18th there will be a new clothing catalog.

-Club Penguin has changed there ideas about the Player Card Feature. ( picture at top of post)
Club Penguin said that they would rather have you see all your clothes when you open your player card, then you can choose to find your clothes by using the sort tool.

-Also, Club Penguin has put a article about Penguin Mail in the newspaper - It shall be coming in a month or so.

Updates!

< Server update
Hi Penguins!
Today the fireworks has been put on display on Club Penguin. They are the exact same from last year.
Theres fireworks at the Ski Village and Iceburg.

Also,
Today, Club Penguin has said there is going to be another Server Update Feature. This update will cause you to find buddies in a much faster way. It’ll show a group of servers that your buddies always visit, or is online on it right now.
The new login shows you the servers you and your friends visit most frequently. In the current system you have to choose a country and then choose from a long list of servers that you may or may not visit. You won’t have go to servers that your friends are on, you can pick your own server to go to, but if you want a server with buddies, you select the upcoming feature.
As said, there has not been a date of when this will be comming out. Lets hope it’ll come out at the end of the month.

As you all know there will be a new Clothing Catalog comming this Friday. Billybob has given us a Sneak Peek of the new clothing catalog.The catalog will have items including guitars. This might be a chance of the Red Guitar Returning.

The rush for Rockhopper

Hi Penguins,
As you know, Rockhopper is here. Everyone is trying to find him, I've already found him twice. Heres a guide for finding him.

Rockhopper Finding Guide (Credit to Watex)
First, you MUST check if he’s online or not. Type in his username in the log in screen and type in a random password (at least five digits long). It will say he’s banned if he’s offline. It will say ‘Incorrect password’ if he’s online. If he’s offline, stop and try again later. If he's offline, It wouldn't be much use trying to find him.

You can talk to him and you can get a free background! Theres always a big crowd of penguins trying to find him

For one thing, Rockhopper is Club Penguin’s account, he can be a bot or a real person (depending on the time of day). So that means he can be on any server, in any place he wants to be. However, sometimes he likes to go on these servers a lot (that doesn’t mean you can’t find him in other servers): Mammoth, Frozen, Mittens, Rocky Road, and any highly populated Servers (the ones on the left column of the first page of the U.S. servers list, for example). But nowadays, he can be on any server!
Now, finding him is kinda tough, but it can be done. Two helpful factors are: that he’s slightly larger than the average penguin (he’s bigger, thus easier to spot if you’re in the same room as him). And there’s always a flood of penguins around him (they’re usually all red). And one surefire way of knowing he’s in a room is that you can’t get into the room because its full and there’s hundreds of penguins clobbering to get into the room. Also, he moves around the rooms in Club Penguin every so often if he’s on the Server. For example, he might appear in the Ship Hold, then move to the Beach, then the Town, then the Iceberg, etc. But sometimes he stays for a very short (or long) time in one or two rooms and switches servers.
And he’s most likely to be in the Dock, the Beach, the Iceberg, the Pizza Parlor, the Plaza, and (this is the one he’s most on) his ship, The Migrator Basically, rooms that have a large penguin capacity, unlike the Mountain Top which can only hold around 20+ penguins before its full.
As for times he’s on, he’s most usually on during peak hours (times when everyone’s on), or he can also be on during random times of the day and night when there’s a moderate amount of people or no people at all.
Methods of finding him
First, you gotta check if he’s online or not. Type in his username in the log in screen and type in a random password (at least five digits long). It will say he’s banned if he’s offline. It will say ‘Incorrect password’ if he’s online. If he’s offline, stop and try again later.
Here is a pretty good method:
Check the servers I mentioned above. Then check servers that have more dots than they usually have. For example, you see Snow Globe or Tundra has 1 or 2 more dots than the servers around them. GO THERE! And for every server, check the places I mentioned (Beach, Dock, etc.). I suggest staying at a crowded place for a bit if someone might shout where RH is.

Update: I suggest using Miniclip.com’s Club Penguin because you don’t get taken to the home page everytime you log off. Also, RH used to give the eye patch, but now, he only gives the free background.

One very tedious and dull way to find him is to check if he’s on, and then check all the servers I mentioned in all the places I mentioned. Then start checking servers with three dots or more (it doesn’t have to be only U.S. Servers, check all nations). And if you still don’t find him check all the other servers with two or less dots and the places on those. And if you still don’t find him, He probably logged off or changed servers/rooms while you were checking. And on top of that, this might not work because he can change servers any time he wants to (but he usually changes every 10-25 minutes so don’t worry).
A somewhat effective way is to check servers that are not usually filled up but are oddly full or close to full for some reason, and go look on there. I’ve actually gotten this to work before.
Another way is going on the most popular servers in the most popular places and just wait for news of him. It could take a few minutes or a few hours (ugh, you should try another method if it takes that long), but someone just might shout “RH is on Mittens!” or “He’s on Mammoth!” or “Rockhopper’s on Tundra! WOOT!”. If they do, FIRST check to make sure Rockhopper’s not on the server you’re are right now. If you are, don’t log out, they’re probably trying to trick you, Rockhopper might just be in that server on the Ship Hold. Try double checking to make sure he’s not in any of the rooms on that Server, then rush on to that server before it fills up and rush to the ship hold (he’s most likely here) before that fills up as well. This has worked a few times for me. And sometimes he appears first on the Iceberg so check there.

Once you find him, its awesome! There’s about two dozen penguins there asking him questions and HE ANSWERS THEM (with a pirate accent). Also, you get a free Rockhopper autographed background if you try buddying him (You can’t buddy him….but you can put him on your ignore list if you want), you can go to his “home” (The Migrator is his home.), and you can send him postcards and I hear he sometimes sends one back! And you can follow him around when he walks around Club Penguin.

Remember, Rockhopper’s not always on Club Penguin.

Rockhopper is back!

-The Key to Captain Quarters

Hi Penguins,
Rockhopper is here, and he brought back some old items, a new item and a re-colored item.

If you meet Rockhopper, he will give you the Rockhopper Background.
If you want to get in to the Captain’s Quarters, then here is how to obtain the key.
-Go to the book room.
-Open the book called The Journal of Captain Rockhopper.
-Go to the last page and you will see a letter, open the letter and you will get the key.

Also a new sports catalog came out today, here are the secrets in it.
-Click on the soccer ball to get the Cleats.
-To get the silver surfboard, first click the green penguin, then the starfish and shell.

Mission 8

Hi Penguins,
The New Mission came out, and also Rockhopper’s ship can be seen through the telescope now. He will be coming to Club Penguin very soon.
Here are the guidelines to Mission 8:

1.Go talk to G and he will tell you about the earthquakes happening on in club penguin
2.Go to the dock and you will see the Polar bear and the crab. You will see that they are responsible for these tremours. Their paper will tear into two peices.
3.Go to the beach and grab the fishnet and put it in your inventory.
4.Go to the town and you will see 2 penguins talking about the giftshop.
5.Go into the coffee shop and help the penguin there to pickup his cookies.
6.After you helped him pick up the cookies, He will give you a cookie, grab it and put it in your inventory
7.Go back to town and give the cookie to the puffle.
8.Go to the snowforts then the plaza and you will see one part of the paper reaching the penguin with the newspaper.
9.Go to the pizza parlour and order a pizza.
10.Go back to plaza and trade the pizza for the newspaper of that penguin.
put the newspaper in your inventory and take back the newspaper so that you will get the paper seperatley.
11.Go back to G and talk to him
12.Ask him for the super helium
13.Take the super helium and fedora/propellor cap and put it in your inventory
14.Go to the lighthouse and grab the baloons and a barrel.
15.Go to the town to the coffee shop and ask for another cookie.
16.Go back to the town and feed the puffle with the cookie and put the new propellor cap on it.
17.Go to the Sports shop and collect the pins beside the tent.
18.Now go back to the dock and enter the tunnel
19.Get your direction with the 2 pieces of paper.
20.Once you got the paper sheets go back to town
21.Take out your spyphone and unscrew the pipes on giftshop.
22.Now put the helium in your baloon to air it up.
23.Go to the town and put the baloon on the right side.
24.Now take our your hammer,net,pins and use all on it.
25.Now go back to dock and go into the tunnel with help of your paper.
26.Now take out your spy phone and take out your wrench
27.Use the wrench on the drill machine and you will see a gear,take it(optional)
28.Now go to the boiler room and talk to hebert the polar bear.
29.Fix the pipes by connecting the pipes from top left corner to down right corner.
30.Now go back to G and talk to him,The mission is over

Clothing Catalog Secrets

Here are the new furniture catalog secrets
-Click on the yellow surfboard on the surfbeach towel for an inflatable dragon.
-Click on the sea weed plant for a clam.
-Click on the sunset painting for a lava lamp
Oh and remember, an earthquake happened on CP
Many areas have been damaged including the town.

And also the bulletin board on the HQ has been updated about the new mission on Club Penguin, it has something to do with the earthquake probably. It says:
"Unexplained earthquakes? Get ready to investigate".

-Theres a new pin. Its at the pizza parlour, its a basketball.

The earthquake was a total mess!
The Night Club had turned into a “WatchIt” Area. (Watch out for the lamp before it hits you!)
The Dance Lounge should hold an earthquake reparing game.
The Book Room turns books and plants upside down.
The Coffee Shop collecting coins instead of collecting Java beans!
The Gift Shop is selling clothes for free!
What do you think had caused this big mess? It is probably about the mission coming out.

Newspaper and Rockhopper

Hi Penguins,
Today the New Newspaper was released and it contained a secret message from the PSA, and Billybob also posted in the main Clubpenguin site about Rockhopper.

Here are the Pictures of the Letter . To go to the PSA letter,First, go to the Water Party Review, then click the bottom of the Crab Picture, You will see a letter with three Puffles, turn three of these Puffles in to Red by clicking on them, you can see the message. ( It’s written in English, not in code.)

Rockhopper is coming at the end of June to Club Penguin again, Thats means he will arrive on Monday.So guys, put on your Pirate clothings and wait at the beach on Monday 30th June 2008.

Mission Update and Rockhopper Update

The mission will be released early next week. And Billybob(from CP) said there will be more information coming to agents soon. Also, Rockhopper is coming back to Club Penguin! YAY! He will arrive at the end of the month. He will probably bring with him a free item/s.

The crab is back!

Klutzy the Crab appears at the Pool every time the clock is:
o’clock and :30 minutes, and he appears at the Mines every :15 and :45 minutes. This is all based on the PST time so use the Clock at the Snow Forts. Maybe he might try to break the glass again? So he is up to something...
So, for example, Klutzy(the crab) will appear at the:
-Pool at 1:00
-Mines at 1:15
-Pool at 1:30
-Mines at 1:45
-Pool at 2:00
and so on…
Remember, its PST so check the clock at the snow forts.

Also, when you throw a snowball in your igloo or another penguin's igloo, it comes up as a normal snowball, not a water bomb as it is in the other rooms.

-Here’s a sneak peek of the upcoming Secret Agent Mission 8. It looks like a huge rock with a hole burnt through or under Club Penguin’s floor. And you can see the Lighthouse through the hole.
